What We Do?

Bedrock Capital is an independent investment banking firm providing capital raising, merger and acquisition (M&A), cross-border transaction advisory services, together with business advisory and development services throughout the sub-Saharan region.

We originate and structure deals from USD $ 10 million or Rands 20 million, however we will consider transactions of all sizes provided they meet our funding requirements. Bedrock Capital works across most industries, but the team has experience and interest in: Mining and Resources; Energy & Renewable Energy; Infrastructure; Financial Services; Retail & Consumer Products; and the SME industry. The Bedrock team also provides services within: mining and metals commodity trading. Over the years, the team behind Bedrock Capital has executed a diverse range of mandates with local and international companies across sub-Saharan Africa.

Cross-Border Transaction Advisory

We are proud of our resourcefulness and tenacious cross-border transacting skills. Headquartered in Johannesburg, South Africa and with offices in Nairobi, Kenya we are currently active across the sub-Saharan African region. Bedrock Capital has done work within the following African countries and is familiar with the business acumen and vested relationships in order to get a deal done. Our market knowledge and geographic presence stretches from the Southern African Development Community “SADC” to the East African community “EAC” to Ghana and Nigeria in West Africa and Ethiopia in the Horn of Africa. Across Africa, Bedrock Capital has association with partner companies in UAE and the USA.

We are experienced at taking international firms into the African markets and South African firms into the emerging economies of Africa. We can provide clients with immediate access to acquisition targets, strategic partners and financial investors across the region and, in doing so, develop the client’s market entry and or expansion strategy for Africa.
